WILD RICE CASSEROLE WITH PORK CHOPS

1 cup wild rice

1 can beef consomme

1 small onion, finely sliced

1 can mushrooms piece

1/3 cup celery, chopped

1 can cream of mushroom soup

4 pork chops, fried

   Rinse rice with water. Mix rice and beef consomme; let stand overnight. Saute onion and mushrooms pieces in butter. Steam celery in sauce pan until tender. Mix onion, mushrooms and celery wwith rice. Add mushroom soup ; put mixture in casserole dish. Top with fried pork chops. Bake 1 hour at 350 F. degrees. 

YIELD : 4 servings
