CHIPPED BEEF AU GRATIN

1/2 package egg noodles

2 Tablespoon butter

 3 Tablespoon flour

1 1/2 cup milk

1/4 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded

 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

4-5 oz chipped beef

2 Tablespoon pimento, minced

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/3 cup buttered bread crumbs

   Cook noodles in salted water ; drain. Make sauce of butter, flour, milk and cheese. Saute mushrooms in butter ; add to sauce. Saute chipped beef in same butter until edges curl. Combine sauce, noodles and beef ; add pimentos and pepper. Place in casserole ; top with crumbs. Bake at 375 F. degrees for 30 minutes.

YIELD : 4-6 Servings
