FAVORITE CORNED BEEF DINNER

1 package macaroni, spaghetti or noodles

1 ( 12 oz) can corned beef, chopped

 1/4 pound American cheese, cubed

1 (10 1/2  or 11 oz) can condensed cream of chicken or mushrooms soup

1 cup milk

1/8 teaspoon pepper ( optional)

1/4 to 1/2 cup onion, chopped

1/2 to 1 cup buttered crumbs, chips or corn flakes

Olives ( garnish)

  Cook macaroni in boiling salted water ; drain and rinse. Combine all remaining ingredients except macaroni , crumbs and olives. Alternate layers of macaroni and beef mixture in greased 2 quart casserole. Top with crumbs and olives, if desired. Bake at 350 -375 F. degrees for 30-60 minutes. Garnish with parsley and olive slices. NOTE : If desired , macaroni may be mixed with beef mixture rather than layered .
