 An old wise tell is to eat Black Eyed peas on New Year's to bring Good luck for the year..I did that with these Beans. I swapped out the Kidney beans and used Black Eyed Beans. This recipe is from this cookbook published in 2005 Tiger Tea 3 quart water , divided                         3/4 cup orange juice concentrate 6 individual tea bags                                           1 cup sugar 3/4 cup lemonade concentrate In a large kettle, bring 1 quart of water to boil. Remove from the heat; add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags. Stir in the lemonade and orange juice concentrate, sugar and remaining water. Serve over ice. Now on to the next recipe!

 I joined in a Christmas Candy collab.. for my YouTube Channel..This recipe is from This cookbook This cookbook was published in 1998 This church is located in Missouri Christmas Bonbons 1/3 cup soft butter            3 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/3 cup Karo syrup     Melted chocolate 1 teaspoon vanilla      pecan halves 1/2 teaspoon salt   Mix in large bowl the butter, syrup, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Add powdered sugar. Mix with a fork, then knead with hands. Cool in refrigerator. Shape into small balls, then cool them in refrigerator. Dip balls in chocolate, then press a pecan half on top. Then video will be posted on my son's birthday ( forever in our hearts)  December 19, 2024

Refrigerate. May add other fruits, if desired. Now my ideas...I did add bananas...I'm thinking adding coconut to this would put it over the top. another idea...use banana cream pudding mix, instead of the vanilla and have banana Cream instant fruit salad... So Delicious..

                        Last recipe from this cookbook , that was published in 1998                              Lemon-Oat Streusel Squares Crust and Streusel 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar 2 cups all -purpose flour 1 1/2 cup rolled oats FILLING 1 can ( 14 oz) sweetened condensed milk ( not evaporated milk) 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel 1/2 cup lemon juice powdered sugar ( optional)   Preheat oven to 350 degrees ( F). For crust, beat butter and sugar in large bowl until well blended. In Medium bowl, combine flour and oats. Add to butter mixture; mix until resembles coarse crumbs. Reserve 2 cups oat mixture for streusel topping; press remaining oat mixture onto bottom of greased 9-inch square baking pan. Set aside. For filling, combine all ingredients except powdered sugar in medium bowl; blend well. Pour filling ...
